i. purpose

Recipe Black Box is a recipe generation and meal design engine. It resolves the question of what to make by transforming available ingredients, leftovers, constraints, and desired outcomes into viable recipes, meals, and menu directions. Rather than starting with a fixed recipe, the engine starts with what is available, what is required, and what success looks like—evaluating ingredients, quantities, serving counts, equipment, time limits, dietary requirements, cuisine direction, and production needs to generate workable culinary paths. Its purpose is to produce practical cooking solutions when the recipe is unknown, the constraints are fixed, or multiple different directions are possible from the same input.
