Spin is a PR and media spin decoder. Paste a public statement. Spin returns what the statement actually says, what the statement is doing, which technique is in use, and what the statement is carefully not saying.
Spin gives the plain reading, the techniques at work, the absences and what those absences protect, who the message is really addressed to, what the statement commits its author to, and how the same facts would read framed differently.
Spin also runs in reverse. Describe a situation and Spin returns the ways that situation could be framed, with what each framing emphasises and what each framing buries. Spin covers press releases, crisis statements, political messaging, advertising and product claims, celebrity statements, sustainability claims, media framing and official notices.
